Last week we saw the first crocuses, so we knew fall was coming. Tomorrow my little one is starting 2nd grade. It is unbelievable how fast time has gone by. She is now fluent in German, with a touch of Viennese dialect, and I have to remind her constantly how to say this and that in English.
Last year we arrived in August, dazed and jet lagged, with four big suitcases to our names. Meanwhile we have accumulated so much stuff that it won’t fit into four suitcases anymore. However, I am proud to say that we have only bought the bare necessities, and we still don’t own a microwave or a toaster :). My point is, we have been blessed here beyond my wildest dreams and we are at peace and happy. I thank God and my family and friends for making it all happen for us.
